Tin is PhD candidate at BCTS.

He completed his first Ph.D. in Language Sciences at Paris Descartes University. His academic journey also includes a master’s in business administration from IAE de Paris - University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He started his teaching career at a high school in Ho Chi Minh City before becoming a professor at the University of Pedagogy Ho Chi Minh City. From 2013 to 2023, he led the Tourism Section of the French Department. His current research looks into the processes of preservation and valorisation for tourism of colonial heritage in Vietnam and more particularly on Ho Chi Minh City.


Il a commencé sa carrière d'enseignant dans un lycée de Ho Chi Minh Ville avant de devenir Professeur à l'Université de pédagogie de Ho Chi Minh Ville. De 2013 à 2023, il a dirigé la section tourisme du département de français.


Ses recherches actuelles portent sur les processus de préservation et de valorisation touristique du patrimoine colonial au Vietnam et plus particulièrement à Ho Chi Minh Ville.

  

 

Teaching & training projects

Tin has co-coordinated several WBI and Erasmus+ training projects in Vietnam, together with Anya Diekmann et Nathalie Lambert. These projects led to the design of a tourism programme and the training of its academic staff at the French Department of the Université de pédagogie in Ho Chi Minh Ville.
