Miguel Cotton has been a lecturer at the Université libre de Bruxelles (IGEAT) since 2008. His teaching focuses on tourism and innovation, tourism marketing, as well as the organization and digitalization of tourism services.

Miguel's career combines teaching, expertise, and entrepreneurship, with a constant interest in innovation and sustainability in tourism.

Founder of the luxury travel tour operator Continents Insolites, he is now developing in Portugal the project Orchard of Flavours, a botanical garden dedicated to food trees from warm regions and their contribution to climate change adaptation. He is actively turning the garden into a tourism destination through signage, storytelling, and educational tourist activities.
