Frédéric Dobruszkes
Frédéric Dobruszkes is an FNRS Research Associate at the Université libre de Bruxelles. His research interests concern transport geography, and more specifically the dynamics of airline networks, long-distance mobilities, aviation and climate change, social conflicts around aircraft noise, and air/rail competition.

Frédéric is an FNRS Research Associate at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where he got his PhD in Geography. His research interests are related to transports, which he studies from an interdisciplinary perspecive combining social sciences and environmental studies.
At present Frédéric focuses his research on the relationships between air transport and climate change, on the social and political dimensions of conflicts pertaining to aircraft noise, as well as on the mobilities of people with a disability.
Frédéric is currently Honorary member of the steering committee of the IGU Commission on Transport and Geography and is Head of the "Centre interuniversitaire pour les études de mobilité" (CIEM).
